What a proud big brother

Two proud big brothers
I thought I would share a few more pics from our special day. Life is a little different at our house these days. I love having a baby girl, and right now all we want to do is sit and hold her. She is just too cute and sweet to put her down. We attempted breastfeeding but it didn't work our for us. So yesterday we had to switch to bottle only. I hated having to do this, since I didn't get to try with the boys. It was a very rewarding experience, and I am glad that I tried this time.
The boys have done really well with her. Austin loves to sit and hold her, and Trenton loves to kiss on her. Danny absolutely adores her. He gets up with me to feed her and loves his one on one time with her. I am going to miss him next week when he goes back to work. I think he may miss us more.
Addyson went back to the doctor today. She weighs 6lbs 8 ozs , so she has lost one pound since birth. Her belirubin was 16 today, so for now we are just going to try to sun her more at home. She is borderline on doing photo therapy. We have another doctor's appt. Monday morning for another check on her weight and belirubin.
Oh, and did I mention that crazy rash is back. I have POPS again! For some crazy reason I get this after I deliver, which you are really suppose to get while you are pregnant. I guess Monday I will be calling the doctor for some medicine to clear this up.
I hope everyone enjoys there weekend. And I will post more pics soon.

Addyson Victoria has Arrived

Saturday May 23rd at 6:08 pm our little girl finally made her arrival into this world. She was 7lbs 6 ozs and 19 1/2 inches long. Delivery went better than expected and thankfully there were no complications. We all are in awww over her. The boys are so sweet with her. I have to say that her Daddy is very proud and she already has him wrapped around her finger .

We were discharged from the hospital on Monday and Addyson weighed 6lbs 15 ozs and her belirubin was 9.5. Today was her first trip to the peds office and she weighs 6lbs 10ozs and her belirubin is 15. Hopefully a few days of sun will help and she want have to do photo therapy. We go back Friday for another check on her weight and the belirubin.
I have more pics to share, but I knew I left everyone in suspense long enough.

Here are a few pics of our sweet baby girl.

37 weeks and counting

Two trips to the dr. this week and no change. I am so ready to have this baby. I am uncomfortable, the contractions want stop, and I need sleep. I am scheduled to see the dr. Tuesday to set a time to induce. I know some people don't like to be induced, but I don't mind. So until she arrives you will find me walking, walking, and walking some more. If anyone has suggestions on things to try, please send them my way. While I loved being pregnant in the beginning, I am really just tired at this point.

Well I better get to walking. Maybe Austin and I will go out to Bridgestreet for a little while. Trenton want go, he dislikes shopping.

36 Week Check-Up

Wednesday was another day at the hospital for me. I woke up about 4:30 with contractions and tried to go back to bed. I was up again at 5:3o after tossing and turning with the pain. Danny decided that he probably needed to stay home with me and see if we needed to go to the hospital. I got up and took a shower and got everything loaded in my bag. Danny took Austin to school and we tried to not let him see me so that he wasn't worried. He worries about me when I am not feeling well, especially since I have been pregnant. We went up to the hospital about 8:30 and got in our room. It was a huge coincidence, but we were there on the 13th and we were in labor room #13, plus I was born on the 13th. Well we got hooked up to the monitors and they watched and checked me, and watched and checked me, and again the same thing. I did nothing, and while they want stop the contractions they can't induce either. So finally around 3:oo we went home.

Thursday I went in for my check-up and I have still not changed. He did say that if I don't have the baby by 38 weeks they will induce. Hopefully I will go before too long, at least that is only a week and a half away. So this weekend, I am going to walk, walk, and walk some more. And we will see what happens.

35 week checkup

Well yesterday was my 35 week checkup appt with Dr. Belmont. I am still dilated the same however Addyson is way low. So he is hoping that I make it another week or two. But he says if I go into labor now then they want stop me. So keep us in your prayers. I have more and more contractions every day, and Addyson is sitting so low that I don't feel like walking anywhere today. Oh, and tomorrow is the full moon. Yesterday was the first day that my feet have swelled. Thankfully it wasn't painful because I didn't have time to sit down. I am trying to get the house ready, and get dinner cooked every night for Danny and the boys. Have I mentioned I Love him for letting me stay-at-home. I enjoy every second of everyday. Even the days that Trenton drives me crazy, while my husband is working very long hours at work due to the hail storm we had. He hasn't been getting home until around 9 or 9:30 every night. And by this time I am ready for him to be home.

In other news, Austin woke up this morning with a crazy rash. It covers his stomach, back, legs, upper parts of his arms, and his neck. So we have an appt. at the peds office at 2:30. Hopefully this is nothing that is contagious. I am hoping that it is something due to his allergies. Seeing how he is allergic to everything outside.

Well I better get back to the chores. I am trying to finish up this laundry. Did I mention all of Addyson's things that we need are washed, ironed, and put away. (I only ironed the little dresses that had to be.) Now if I can only finish ours. Well back to work I go.

PS I hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day!!! I would be happy to be delivering a baby on Mother's Day. But we will just see what Addyson has in store for us.

First trip to hospital

Well last night we took our first trip up to labor and delivery. I had contractions all day yesterday and after doing everything that I knew to get them to stop we headed to the hospital. Well we got there and I was dilated between 2 1/2 & 3 and 50% effaced. So they gave me a shot of brethine and waited 20 min. Then another shot of brethine. Thankfully the contractions slowed down and they release me. I am officially 35 weeks today. I go back to Dr. Belmont on Thursday and we will go from there. Hopefully little Addyson will hold off two more weeks.
