15 Week Visit

Yesterday was my 15 week visit to the OB and so far so good. I have gained 3 lbs and the little one was moving around as usual. This one never wants to stay still for them to check the heart rate. But after a few minutes they finally heard it and then, well it moved again. Well next month is the big visit, the day we find out what this new little one will be. The big day is January 15th, and I can't wait. The boys want to go, so Danny and are talking it over. I think this would be something that we would all cherish together. And then Trenton will see that there is only 1 baby. Other than that my iron has dropped in the last month, so they started me on iron pills. I am hoping one will do the trick, but with Austin it took 4 pills a day. So we will just see.

I hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas. Things are coming together slowly at the house. But this weekend I plan to get the shopping done, some presents wrapped, and a little cooking done.

You know it will help out a little if the people in Huntsville would learn to drive. :) It seems like these past few weeks work has been crazy. Of course the rain hasn't helped. Maybe next week will be better.

Everyone have a Wonderful Weekend!!!

Our Weekend Away

This weekend Danny and I had a little time away, with no little ones. Well except for the little one that I am carrying . :) We dropped the boys off Saturday morning with Danny's parents and we headed up to Nashville. I have to say, this was the first time the boys have ever spent the night with Danny's parents. Strange but true.

Danny and I spend Saturday shopping, shopping, and shopping some more. My feet were so--- tired by the time we made it to our room at the Radisson. And I felt like I had a cold, which I think was just allergies. So after a little rest we went to dinner and came back and crashed. Then Sunday morning we went to the Opryland Hotel and looked around and then back to OpryMills for lunch and a little more shopping. Now we were going to have breakfast at the Opryland Hotel or what they call bruch, but after seeing the price we decided that was not in our budget (it was $32 a person). So we went back to OpryMills and had an early lunch at Johnny Rockets (which cost us under $20 tax and all).

We got home yesterday afternoon around 4 and I cooked Austin his favorite dinner and Danny and I both were in bed early.

I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend. And I hope you all have a wonderful week. I know the boys have started the countdown. And with only 10 days left till Christmas I still have lots to do.

Coen is Here!!!

My cousin Cyndel delivered a healthy little boy yesterday in an amazing 4 hours and 36 min. Not too bad for the first baby. Coen weighed 6lbs 11 ozs and was 19in long. I have to say he is a beautiful, bright eyed little boy. Mom and baby are doing great!!! I will post pics tonight hopefully! Thursday nights seem to be very busy between dinner, homework, bedtime, and Greys Anatomy.

Rashes...

Austin spent the weekend with his great grandparents, which if you don't know by now are Nanny and Papa. Well Austin came home last night and immediately wanted to take off his pants. His legs were itching like crazy, and when he took off his pants I understood why. He had hives all over his legs and his behind. It was the weirdest rash I have ever seen. We gave him some benadryl and put him to bed early. Well around 1o:30 or 11:00 Danny and I checked in on him. His rash that was originally on just is legs was all over his body, but looked like the chicken pox. So I am freaking out by this point. But he was sleeping so we just watched him through the night. This morning he woke up with just a few places, so I went ahead and called the doctor. He has had an allergic reaction to something, not sure what. They are going to start him on Orapred and hopefully this will be cleared up in a few days!!!

So I have enjoyed a day at home catching up on laundry!!!

I will post pics soon. I tried earlier but blogger lost my post!!! Little to say I am not too happy about that but I will try again when I have a little time. Right now I have to get back to laundry.

Let's Catch Up In Photos

Tis the Season

As much as I love the Christmas season, it seems like every year gets busier and busier and I just want to find time to enjoy it. And of course being pregnant is not helping matters. Danny did get our tree up but we still have not decorated it. Hopefully this will be done Saturday morning if I can get up and get motivated! And maybe the boys and I will find a little time to do some Christmas cooking.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our families. We had breakfast at my grandmothers, lunch in grant with my mom's family (which we did not eat at), and dinner with Danny's family and my mom and sisters. We had a great time with our families and the food was great. I do love being pregnant during the holidays, can you guess I want be watching what I eat. I did take some good photos so hopefully I will load those on the computer so that I can share my pics.

Well we are still waiting on the new family member to arrive. My cousin Cyndel should go into labor any day and we are all patiently waiting. They will induce next Wednesday if she doesn't have him by then. I know she is ready and I just pray that she has an easy delivery with no complications.

My sister and I did get out for Black Friday. We have done this the past few years and we love it!!! I love shopping, so I definately loved getting out and finding the good deals. The only thing I didn't like was the rude people. Now I don't make anyone get up at that time of the morning to go shopping and you have to realize that there are a lot of people shopping. Which means lines, and that requires patience. So my pet peeve on black friday, don't stand in line and gripe that there is a line!!! Everywhere I shopped they were well staffed and the workers were going as fast as they could. Maybe next year those people will stay home!!!

Other than that, the family is great. I am now 13 weeks pregnant. I am definately showing, have outgrowed most of my pants, and Trenton still thinks that there are two. Which I keep correcting and pray to God that they only see one baby on the next ultrasound.

More to come soon....

Updates

Well as you all can see, the new camera pics have still not been uploaded to the computer. I think this will be on the top of my to-do-list for the weekend. I have plenty of pics to post from my birthday and a few other events...so more to come soon I promise.

I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I still feel great. I actually lost a pound at my last visit and the baby's heartbeat was 165. Everything is going well and my IBS is getting lots better. So hopefully I will gain a little weight by the next visit. If not I am sure the doctor will be on me, especially since I am already so small.

In other news, we are patiently awaiting the arrival of a new member of our family. Little Coen Lane should be here soon. I can't wait to meet him. His mom, Cyndel, babysat Austin when he was very young so I know she will be a great mom.

The boys are so excited about Thanksgiving. They love spending time with the family and this year they will get to meet some new family. We are going to spend lunch with my mom's side and the boys will get to meet aunts and cousins that they didn't even know they had. My mom's family is not very close. My mom is from a family of 12, but they are very spread in age and just haven't remained close over the years. Which is sad to me but I know I really don't have control over that. But this year is special. My mom's older sister is losing her eye sight so we all want to be together so that she can have those special memories to remember.

Other than that I am so thankful for my family this year. We have had a tough year so I look forward to spending quality time with them this holiday season.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Birthday Present

This is what my wonderful husband and my two little boys
got me for my birthday! This was the only thing that I had
asked for so I was super excited to open my present and find
this inside. They also got me a memory card, a carrying case,
and a bag of peppermint bark candy.

The guys at my work bought me a basket from the fudgey nut
and flowers.

I will post more later about my evening. And I promise now that
I have a new camera that I will post more pics.

Strep AGAIN!!!!

So yesterday afternoon I had to leave work early AGAIN and watch Trenton because Deborah (Danny's Mom) had to take her mom to the doctor. Trenton and I made a quick trip to the chiropractor's office and I went ahead and called the doctor on my way. He has had problems with eyes since Monday and they were treating him like it was allergies but his poor eyes were still really pink and you could just tell something was wrong. So the doctor's office called back, and scheduled us in to see Dr. Patz at 5. So I went back home grabbed Austin and off we went to see Dr. Patz. Thankfully they were on time and we didn't sit in the waiting room but for maybe a minute. Well the nurse went ahead and swabbed Trenton because he told her him throat hurt a little and we waited on the doctor. Dr. Patz is so good with my two boys, and he came in and talked to Trenton while he looked him over. He was a little stumped with his eyes because Trenton's eyes are very pink but they don't drain. So while we were talking I was telling him that the nurse had swabbed him for strep and he was like I would be surprised if he had it, well then he flips screens on his computer and was like I am definately wrong. Trenton did have strep and he looked at Austin's throat and he had strep as well. So the boys are out of school AGAIN and hopefully they will both be well by the weekend. Thank goodness he did prescribe meds that they both don't mind taking. :)

Today is not my day

So this morning I get up thinking what a great day I will be having at work. I was going to leave at 12 and go to the grocery. Pick up the last minute items for dinner tonight (it's Bunko night) and get home and finish picking up around the house, and do the last minute touches. This was also going to leave me enough time to spend a little time with the boys and get a manicure and pick up my makeup. I am completely out of base and the guys at work now call me little Amish girl. So I had all of these wonderful plans for today and they all going down the drain fast!!! My boss who went on a business trip to Las Vegas last Thursday has still not returned to work. Supposedly they got stuck in Dallas on Sunday, so he didn't show up yesterday. And then this morning I get a phone call from his wife saying that he picked up something from the airport (yea right)!!! So little to say I am just a little angry today, and very stressed out. I apologize now to all of my bunko friends if my house is not up to par tonight and if I look a little stressed. I promise though to try to make the evening wonderful and hopefully my food will turn out okay since I want have a lot of time to cook. And hopefully the boss will show up sometime today so I can leave before 5pm. It is days like today that I wished I could be a stay-at-home mom. :)

Thanks again for letting me get this out of my system.

My Wonderful Husband

So yesterday morning we stayed home from church with the boys (Trenton now is feeling bad and I think I am getting a cold), and Danny went out with his dad for a few hours looking for us a storage building. We are officially outgrowing our house but with a storage building I think we will be good for a little longer. So while Danny was gone, I kept the boys and did the wonderful laundry. This is the only chore that seems to always be behind in my house. So I did the laundry and got ready to leave for my cousins shower. Well Danny and his Dad took a while looking at those storage building and he got back just in time for me to head to Arab. But I have to say he made it up to me while I was gone. Let me explain...

Our bedroom has been a mess since we moved back in month's ago from having the house repairs done. It was a room that we could shut off from the rest of the house, and seeing how we have been so busy, we just haven't had the time to deal with it. So while I was gone to the shower and to church, Danny cleaned the room. And I mean it looks wonderful. Now he did leave me with a neat stack of papers, and a few bags of clothes that I have bought and have not put away. But what a wonderful surprise to come home to yesterday, and what a wonderful husband I have. God did bless me with a wonderful husband.

Danny also has been planning me a 30th birthday party for this weekend with my family and a few of my close friends. I am so excited, not so much about turning 30, but to see my family and friends.

Well I better get back to work. We have a toilet issue going on here and Mr. Rooter just showed up. Hopefully we will have working potty's soon.

Almost all better

Austin seemed to be feeling lots better by this morning. The doctor said that he had a cold which then caused his asthma to act up. So he put him on Orapred and we are giving him over-the-counter cough medicine. But thankfully, he is getting better, and the steroids seem to be helping.

Other than that we have a very busy weekend. Tomorrow is game day at our house. We will be watching AL play LSU. I can't wait!!! We are big AL fans, which when all you girls come over you will see. After the game, Austin has requested we play Rock Band. Sunday though, will be extremely busy!!! We have church, then my cousin Cyndel's baby shower, then back to church to work the nursery. Somewhere in all of this, I will need to find time to do laundry, clean the house, and rest.

Well hopefully next week I can post some pics of our weekend. Since Cyndel, Shantelle, and myself are all pregnant hopefully I can get a shot of all of us together.

Well back to work I go. Hopefully I will get off at 5 today. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

The Doctor We Will Go

Well Austin is sick again with a cough and his chest hurting him, and he is complaining with body aches. So off to the doctor we will go this afternoon, and hopefully while we are there I want pick up any germs. I will keep you posted on what the doctor says.

I am now 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and so far so good. The night sickness is getting better. If my IBS would ease up, I would feel a lot better. The only other thing I notice is that I can't get still at night, or I will be asleep. But hey, after going all day from 5:30 on, I am tired. I am just thankful that I don't have morning sickness, that is a blessing.

As for Trenton, he is great. He loves school and loves learning new things. And his behavior is also improving which makes it easier on Mommy and Daddy while we are at work.

Other than that, Danny finally finished working on the outside of our house. He still has a few finishing touches to do, but it looks great. And he has been such a help thru the first part of the pregnancy. He has been cleaning and cooking so that I can rest. I really am blessed to have a wonderful husband.

Well I better get back to work.

1st Doctors Appt

So today was my first OB appt and what an exciting morning it has been. I am 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and the official due date for now is June 8th. But Dr. Belmont says that we will deliver in May, since Austin and Trenton were both early. And what perfect timing that will be, I will actually get to spend a little time with Austin this summer.

My gosh at how the paperwork has changed with this little one though. I think I was asked a million questions, but I know this will help them give me the care I need and will help keep the other doctors informed about our prior pregnancies. We already know that I will probably have some problems after delivery but we are just going to pray that I get thru them like I did with the other two. And we are going to pray that I don't go into labor again at 24 weeks. All I ask is that I have a healthly pregnancy and a healthy baby. I don't think anyone can ask for more than that.

Well I will post more soon. Hopefully this weekend I will find time to update everyone on everything else we have been doing and add a few pics.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Colds

We have caught our first colds of the season and man I miss those days where you can actually take something to help. Danny went Sunday to the drugstore to find something that I could take. So the pharmacist gave him Pseudophed. So I thought I will try to only take it at night, well bad idea. That has kept me up for two nights, so I guess I will just let my body and the vitamins try to fight off this cold. I always love sleep, but right now I really need sleep!!!!

Austin is on his way back home from Gatlinburg. Trenton has missed him so much and we all can't wait to see him. However, looks like it will be Thursday night before he comes home. With work, I really can't drive him back and forth to my grandmother's everyday. So Thursday night after work we are going to pick him up, and I am going to take off Friday. Yea!!! I love long weekends.

Saturday we are going to have a yardsale. We have accumulated too much stuff, and some of it must go! Whatever does not sell will be donated because with a new baby comes more stuff and I really would like to have a clutter free house. Then Saturday afternoon we are going to take the boys to Tate Farms. The boys love visiting there each year, and we love it because it is so close!

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the week!!!

BIG NEWS!!!

I'm Pregnant!!! Danny and I are going to be blessed with another little one, and we both are so excited! I go to the doctor Oct. 30th to find out all of the details of when this new little one will be joining our family. I was going to wait but I really can't keep secrets for long periods!

Well Austin will be heading out of town tomorrow for a long weekend trip to Gatlinburg with my grandparents. He is such a lucky young man. The rest of us will be staying home to watch a little football and go to a cookout with some friends from work.

Besides for all of that we are still staying busy with work. We had a record quarter this month and hopefully that will pay off. Danny and I have been looking at houses and talking to a mortgage company. I think we are going to wait a little longer. While the trailer will be a little cramped, I am still a little uneasy with the economy. So we are still going to look into this new subdivison in January. Danny's mom works for the builder and we could have a little input on how we want it layed out. And seeing how we just looked at two houses that we both loved, we now know what we want and don't want in a house. Or so we think!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

A Little Update

Life is finally getting back on track, and what an amazing few weeks it has been. Everyone is doing good. I am thankful everyday for the husband I have and the two wonderful little boys that we are blessed with. I have even finally talked Danny into joining us at church. This is a huge accomplishment, but also an answered prayer. It is hard trying to get up and go to church by yourself with two little ones, but Sunday was such a wonderful day for me. To get up and go to church as a family, what a blessing.

Well onto other news...Trenton turned 5 on Sunday. I can't believe my baby is 5. We took him out to lunch at the mexican restaurant. He changed his mind numerous times, and when he finally decided that he wanted to the pizza place by our house, well they were closed on Sunday. So tomorrow we are going to take him to Mama Mia's to make up for them being closed. He was very upset, but he had a great birthday.

Well this weekend will be the big birthday party for the two of them. It is mainly just family, with a few of our friends. We have always had their parties at home but this year we are having it at Pump It Up. So not only will the kids have fun but so will the adults!!! And it will be a nice change and mommy does not have to do any cleaning. WOO HOO!!!

I will post pics soon of Austin's birthday dinner and Trenton's lunch. My sister has the pics of Austin's b'day, so maybe I can convince her to put them on my page. If not I will have to wait till she is back in Alabama, which will be in a few weeks. :(

So a little more news about Trenton. He has been misbehaving a little at daycare, so Tuesday Danny and I had a meeting at Primrose. And we have come to the conclusion that he is bored. They did testing on the preschoolers last week and Trenton is testing a year ahead. We are so excited, but also a little nervous. Hopefully the teacher is going to give him extra work from now on when he finishes early.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

My Life

So as many of you know by now, I haven't been blogging a lot lately. I really didn't know what to say and I really didn't want to talk. So to fill everyone in my last two months here goes. Danny and I have been married for 8 wonderful years, but we hit a rough patch. And while we lived in the same house, it was almost like we lived seperate lives. We both didn't talk or touch each other, it was like I was living with someone I didn't know anymore. So we spent some time apart. This has been the hardest time in my life, however, I learned just how much I truly love my husband. While living alone with the boys I learned that I could keep a better house, be a better mom, and hopefully be a better wife.

So on to the happy part of all of this, Danny has moved back in with me and his boys. And it is absolutely the best time in our lives. We have both went to see counselors to learn how to talk to each other and how to deal with what was going on with us on the inside. I think we both just needed some changes and that is what we are going to do.

I will post more soon. I have lots of catching up to do. I will try to post pics this weekend of Austin's birthday dinner. Since both of the boy's birthdays are in September, we always do a big combined party, but we always take them out to eat on their special day. So we took Austin to Shogun, and we all had a blast.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Busy....Busy...Busy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. But work has been a little crazy lately and doesn't seem to be slowing down. Which means long hours and then with Austin back in school, there are just not enough hours in the day. Besides for that, really there is not a lot going on with us. Trenton finally got a Pre-K teacher, which is he really likes. And Austin's teacher is great this year!!!

Hopefully soon something exciting will happen. Just pray that we don't have anymore hail storms.

The Boys Pictures at the Park

Well here are a few of the shots from the boys photo session at the park. Hopefully soon I will find time to do a slideshow off all the shots. Trenton wasn't very happy in these photos, but we got a few good shots. If you notice there aren't a lot of smiles, well that would be because the boy's wanted to fake smile. I hope you enjoy, I know we had a great time watching the photo session.

Sister is Visiting

This weekend my sister decided to come in from Atlanta for a visit, and we were all so happy to see her. She has been traveling a lot lately. She has traveled 10 states in about a month. She is a very busy lady. Well she has recently accepted a position in South Carolina so she wanted to come visit before she moved. The boys have been attached to her hip. They have loved every minute that she has been here. And I have enjoyed it because I get to get a little accomplished around the house. Plus, she has been helping out with my laundry. That has been nice!!! I hate that she is moving, but I know she has to for her career. One day, hopefully she can find a job back here in Huntsville or at least Atlanta so she is close.

Other than this, we have been getting ready for school to start back. We got Austin's teacher's name, Mrs. Harmon, and so far I have heard good things. I really hope Austin has a great year, after last year he needs someone that wants him to learn and pushes him to excel.

Well I got Trenton's uniforms in....and well I ordered all the wrong sizes. Now we had nothing to go by and I ordered all his normal sizes. Little to say, he want have uniforms for school next week because it says they need 15 days for returns. I guess I will go by some solid polos to get us by. If anyone sees any good deals, please let me know. He can only wear red, white, or navy.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of your week. And have a great weekend shopping with the "tax free" weekend.

Photos from the botanicals gardens

Here are some pics of our trip to the Botanical Gardens last week. I hope you all enjoy!!!

I think I am finally WELL

So after fighting a cold for a week, I think I am finally well. I think Danny and I actually managed not to give the kids the cold. Yea!

Well this past weekend we didn't do much. I was still recuperating and I just needed REST!!! We did manage to take the boys to their photo session. We had them made at the Arab park. Trenton was half asleep during the first part of the session, he fell asleep on the way. He still managed to smile in his photos and he stood where she asked him to stand. Danny and I cracked up with the looks he gave her. She would try to get him to pose and he would look at her like she was crazy. But with a little coercing he would pose just like she wanted. Austin did just like she asked, he even gave her the fake smiles. We want get the proofs back for a few weeks but as soon as we do I will post them.

Sunday, I rested at home ALL DAY!!! I did nothing. I figured the only way to get rid of the cold was with rest. And I think it finally worked.

Well the first part of the week has been a little crazy. We have had some of the big guys in from Geico looking over our shop. Our shop could possibly be one of the top 10 Geico RX shops in the U.S. So we have been cleaning up and making sure everything was just right. I sure hope they were impressed.

Other than that, I decided it was time for some new makeup. I tried Bare minerals, and I really disliked it. It just wasn't for me. So last night I decided I needed a change. So I took a little of my bonus money and spent it on MYSELF!!! I went to the MAC counter and she fixed me right up. I got new foundation, powder, blush, lipstick, the works. And today, I got compliments. So maybe I will get up that little extra time and spruce myself up. Yea Right! I could try but there are no guarantees. School is about to start so that equals more time getting kids ready and less time for mom.

I ordered Trenton's uniforms. I am so excited, I will have to post some pics of him in them. Hopefully that will alleviate a little of the stress in the morning when school starts.

I hope I haven't bored you all with my boring week. School starts soon and then it gets exciting. :)

Botanical Gardens

Well yesterday I decided that even though I am sick, I would take off from work a half of day and take the kids on an adventure. So my Nanny and Austin met Trenton and I at the Botanical Gardens. Now it was around 1:00 when we got there and it was HOT!!! And of course, the boys would rather run than walk. My poor Nanny was trying her best to keep up with them, really I mean I was trying my best to keep up with them. LOL. The boys had a great time and we took lots of pics with the dinosaurs. Next time we will take their swimsuits!!! I had never been there, but they have sprinklers and fountains galore. It was a lot of fun, and the boys had a great time. I promise to post pics soon. If anyone wants to offer advice on the best way, or a program to use please let me know.

Now if only I could get over this cold!!!

Thanks honey

Just a quick update, my lovely husband gave me his cold. So I am feeling a little rough, but I will get better. My grandmother is doing well. She will get the results of her heart tests in two weeks, but they released her from the hospital on Friday. Since it rained ALL weekend, we didn't get to go to the gardens. Danny did go buy a new "used" vehicle this weekend. We are now the proud owners of a 2003 Toyota Tacoma crew cab prerunner. The boys love it because they both can ride in Daddy's truck now.

I hope everyone has a great week. We are going to attempt to go to the botanical gardens tomorrow, that is if I can get off work early. Wish me luck!!!

Little of this and a little of that

PRAYER REQUEST

They have admitted my grandmother into the hospital today for tests. Now if you know me, you know that I am REALLY close to my Nanny. I talk to her everyday, my son stays with her during the week, she is my Rock. When my parents divorced, she was the one that was always there. Please pray that the tests come back fine and that she will get better soon.

Other than this, I found out today that my cousin Cyndel is expecting a boy. This will be the 9th great grandchild and there is only one girl. Now my grandparents had 10 grandchildren (1 which died at birth) and there were 7 girls and 3 boys. So we are doing a reversal on them. Hopefully there will be some more girls soon!!!

I will be scheduling the boys photos tomorrow. There birthday's are in September so I am trying to get them done before school starts back, and we have never had some outdoor shots done. It should be fun!!!

Also, Trenton will be moving up to Pre-K hopefully next week. I can't believe my baby will be 5 soon. It amazes me at how much he already knows. He can write is name, he knows his letters and sounds, his numbers, and he is even rhyming words. Which sometimes gets him in trouble. But he is still young, and I just correct him and tell him to be careful on choosing his words.

Austin started back to tutoring on Monday. It hasn't bothered him so far, probably because he will only be going two days a week. He should finish in about three weeks, and then hopfully he will be done with Sylvan for a while or for GOOD. He also convinced my grandparents to take the 4-wheeler home to the farm, it had been at my grandfathers shop. He seems to be testing the waters, and my grandparents have informed him that if he does not slow down then he will lose it for a week. So hopefully he will listen. It scares me with him riding to begin with, but hopefully he will ride it responsibly.

Other than that, we are planning on taking the boys to the botanical gardens this weekend. We have been meaning to go all summer so hopefully we will make it there before the dinosaur exhibit leaves.

I hope everyone has a great ending to there week, and a wonderful weekend!!!

Back to the vet we go

Well Ranger had a very bad weekend. Saturday he just layed around all day, and Sunday he threw up all day. It was almost like chasing a child around the house, but this child weighing 60+ lbs. So we took the food away and gave him small amounts of water. Yesterday afternoon I took him back to the vet. He was again running a fever and had lost a lb. So they took him off of the prednisone and back on two other medicines. This morning he seemed better. He kept Danny up most of the night because he was hungry but other than that no vomiting. I had to call and check in with the vet this morning. He said as long as Ranger is able to eat tonight and seems to be playing and not laying around we should be okay, if he starts throwing up and still feels bad then we will go back on Thursday for more tests. I really think he will be fine. He probably ate something that he wasn't suppose to, or the prednisone made him sick.

Well the boys are doing great. I think Trenton may go ahead and move into the pre-K room in the next few weeks. He is so excited. Also we will be ordering uniforms soon. They are so cute, I will have to post pics. It will also be less hassle on us in the mornings.

Austin has been enjoying his summer with Nanny and Papa. He has a very good tan. I think he spends most of his days outdoors, which I am glad about. My grandparents bought him a 4-wheeler but it will only go max 12 mph. Now I was not to keen on him getting this, well because of the accident my dad had on his. But I am trying to let him be a kid, and my nanny is super strict on him, no helmet she takes the keys. Also his reading has improved. This weekend he read me a few pages in one of the books he is reading and I was amazed. I am very proud of him for all of his hardwork!!!

I hope everyone has a great week!!! And a Happy Fourth!!!

Ranger...Danger

So today I had to take the dog to the vet....and this is not a small dog. Ranger is a weimaraner, well I hope I spelled that RIGHT!!! He is a blue, but he is a very dark grey color. He is a beautiful yet hyper dog. And did I mention he is an inside dog. Well so he has a little place on his leg that he is losing hair. I thought he got cut or bit. So here I go off to the vet with Ranger and Trenton. Well first off, this dog is huge. And he tried to ride in front of the car in the little green Honda. So the dog stands up in the seat the whole time, and of course causes me problems driving. So we finally arrive at the vet. What an experience, and needless to say I want be doing it again by myself. The dog weighs 66.2 pounds and here I am trying to pull the dog into the vet because he was scared. So I finally get him in and he freaks out!!! He starts jumping on all of the chairs, putting his front paws on the counter, and sniffing all of the other dogs. So they put us in the exam room. Well they run there tests, and decide to put him on some steroids. Now we are going to take these pills, and see how he does. If this doesn't work, then the vet informs me that he may need some doggy prozac. So lets hope the steroids work. However, the prozac may calm him down. :) So little to say I finally got checked out and made it home. Let's just say Danny will be taking to dog from now on. :)

What a Week...So Far

So Saturday, Trenton and I had some one on one time, and it was great. Well, except for the fact that the power went off for like 2 hours. But hey, we made the best of it. We got to play the WII for the first time, well my first time. He was so cute bowling. It is a very interactive system, so it works out really good for him. Then Danny and Austin got home and I got to bowl with him and Danny. Austin had me laughing so hard at his bowling skills. He thinks that it is necessary to swoop your arm around a few times before you hit the release button. Lets just hope the child doesn't need shoulder surgery by the age of ten.

Well Sunday I spent unpacking again and doing laundry. I was behind from the move, and then with no power on Saturday it just made me further behind. But I have to say that we are loving the house repairs so far. With new flooring and some paint, it looks like a whole different place. Oh, and did I mention we got rounded corners. This really looks like a house on the inside. Our next project is the outside. Danny spent most of the day Sunday redoing the underpinning. It looks great. The next project will be the yard and some flower beds. This will be our first experience with flower beds, so if anyone has suggestions on plants to use, feel free to let me know.

This week has been a little crazy at work, plus the honda wanted to act up. So the car is in the shop, nothing too major, just a radiator and a few other things. And work, well we are just swamped!!! I guess that is a good thing since this month ends the quarter. But that means Monday will be paperwork day. And oh, how I dislike paperwork!!!

Well Austin had his last tutoring session today, or so I thought. Looks like he didn't finish the program like they had hoped. But we are going to give him a little break. He has been going 8 hours a week to tutoring, so he needs a little bit of his summer to play. We go next week to see how much of the program he likes, plus to see how much extra they are going to charge. Sylvan really is great, but they are very EXPENSIVE!!!

Well back to work I go!!! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

I Love My Home

So Danny and I started moving back in on Monday night. Oh how I loved being back in my own bed and in my house. It looks wonderful but messy!!! So this weekend I will be cleaning and moving furniture back to it's place. I have to say that we were blessed to have had two wonderful workers. They worked day, nights, and weekends to try to get my home ready for me to host my dinner; and they almost succeeded. And they worked Father's Day! So I have to say a big "Thank You" to them. And a big "Thank You" to my in-laws for letting us stay with them. They were so gracious for letting us stay with them and letting us host our supper club there. Well back to work I go, for now at least.

I Want My House Back

The home repairs are moving along, however, last night we had to move out of our house. The workers are great, and have been trying to work around us. But they are trying to work in the kitchen, living room, and hallway now and there is dust everywhere. So for Trenton's sake we are staying out of the house. I just want my house back!!!! I don't think I realized how lucky we are to be able to go home, cook our dinner, and sit down and enjoy some time with the little ones. But for now, we are just trying to make do. That means, eating out for dinner and staying at night with the inlaws. So please pray that our house gets done quickly so we can have our lives back. I miss my home and I miss my own space!!!

Update on home repairs

So I thought I would give everyone a little update on our home repair process. So the first part of the process is half way completed. They have finished changing out the boards on the front part of the house. And they started on the back part today. As I type, I am sitting with no back door. We have plastic up so hopefully we get no bugs and we can keep some of the cool air inside. This is an adventure, and with the heat, it is going to be a slow process during the day. So right now our two wonderful workers are really praying for some shade. And I really can't blame them. So right now there schedule is a little weird. They work from about 9 or 10 in the morning till about 2. Then they go to the hotel to rest and are back from 4pm till about 11 or 12. So we are attempting to stay home as long as possible. But in the next few day we will have to start staying with Danny's parents. Please pray that we all can live together in peace and that we are patient in this process. I know the slow process will be in weeks to come but I am hopeful that once they get inside that it will go a little faster. :)

Finally

The workers showed up last night to start repairs on the house. Please keep us in your prayers that we don't go crazy. We are going to try to live there while they do the work, however, once they get to the living room/kitchen area I am not so sure. So for now, they are going to start on the outside and they will work there way around the house. I just hope and pray that they fix the problem this time.

Another week in my shoes....

Sorry I haven't blogged lately, but well, I have just been crazy lately. So where do I begin....well school started last Tuesday. Oh course, seeing how I procrastinate, I had not went and bought my books. Which really, I never have until I looked over the syllabus. Sometimes, they don't require you to buy your book. Well all three classes did. So all week I tried leaving work to get over to the off campus bookstore to buy my books. Well, finally Thursday afternoon Trenton and I finally got there. But they were closed, yes ladies closed. And this was after I rushed to leave work at 5, pick up Trenton from daycare, and then rush all the way down the parkway and venture onto University Drive. So I pull into the parking lot at about 5:45 and they were closed!!! They closed at 5 o'clock!!! I mean, come on, some people do have to work and are not fortunate to get to leave there desk for lunch. So I thought since I drove all the way down University Drive then at least we could go out to eat for dinner. Danny was working late anyways, so Trenton and I went and took him to eat at Rosie's. Of course, that was an adventure too because Trenton really doesn't do well at restaurants. But hey, he is 4, and they waitress really was in no hurry!!!

Friday afternoon Austin came back home from nanny and papa's. He loves staying with them during the summer. And although I miss him terribly during the week, I know that these memories with them will last forever. Nanny and Papa are Austin's great grandparents, so really he is a lucky kid. He actually got to spend some quality time with his great great grandparent's but they have since past. So Friday evening we took Austin out to dinner at Mama Mia's with a couple of our friends. We had such a nice time, and the restaurant had an arcade, so Austin had a good time too!!! Afterwards, we went to try out the new ice cream shop, and it was so--- good! Then it was back home to get some rest.

Saturday mornings are always and adventure at our house. Austin has tutoring, I am trying to get some chores done, and my husband seems to always disappear. So this Saturday, Danny get up to go help a friend with his a.c. unit, so off me and the boys went. First we dropped Austin off at Sylvan then Trenton and I went to the Off Campus bookstore to get my books (which they only have 2 of the 3), and then we went to Old Navy. Of course, then we had to rush to get Austin and go get our haircuts. Now usually, I go get my haircut by myself. Girls we all know, that is a good place to have a little relaxation!! Well, not for me this time. So I let the boys go first. And then while I attempted to get my haircut, my kids thought they would have a water fight with the spray bottles. So finally she got my haircut. And girls, it is way cute!!! Of course, it is a little short, but I LOVE it!!! And I even got the hubby's approval!!! So afterwards, the boys and I got to spend a little time with my best friend Michelle. She lives in Georgia and came home for the weekend. After all of this I went home got the kids ready and went over to our friends house for dinner. Of course, my husband finally showed up at 7:40. I could tell he was exhausted, but I was also a little upset because we only get to spend the weekends with Austin and he spent a day working with someone else. But I didn't say anything, I just kept my mouth shut. On a lighter note, Danny's great aunt Velma passed away on Saturday.

So Sunday, I spent on homework. That was my plans on Saturday, but since Danny wasn't home I just spent the day with the boys. And of course, the class I don't have the book in, and still don't have the book in has the most work. So I completed my work for the other two classes. So far, so good. I just am hoping that I get the swing of these classes.

Well Monday we worked all day and had visitation that night. It is strange with Danny's family because they are not close. So the only time we see them is usually at the funeral home or a funeral. I know that sounds morbid but it is the truth.

Then yesterday, we went to Velma's funeral. She lived a great life, had a wonderful family, and loved God. I had no idea that she was a member of the Church of Christ. So we spend the morning mourning a loss but also rejoicing because now she is where we all want to be when our lives come to an end. After the funeral, we got to spend a little time with Danny's aunt Sherry and her husband. They live in Georgia, so it was nice catching up. Afterwards, I went back to work. Last night we spent having a wonderful dinner from Thai Garden (now girls, if you have never had their food, it is divine), and then we took Trenton and Ranger (the dog) out to play. What a wonderful night, after a day of sorrow.

So ladies, I guess now you see how crazy my week's go. Sometimes I really want to be a stay-at-home mom, but then I realize that if I really want that house, I need to continue with my career. Just keep my in your prayers, that I can balance God, my family, work, and school. Sometimes I think on Sundays, that I need a rest. But I know that God will take care of me if I just continue on my path. Oh and girls, I ordered that book for class online Saturday evening, and do you know, I still don't have that book. So wish me luck with that class, hopefully the book will arrive this week, so I can spend the weekend catching up with school. What a weekend to look forward too!

What a Wonderful Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with your family's and friends, I know that we did. So where should I start. Well Austin came home Friday afternoon from his nanny's. It was so- good for him to be home. Trenton misses him so much while he is there visiting. So we took off to Wal-Mart after I got off from work and we bought National Treasure 2. However, none of us made it to the end of the movie. So I guess we will finish it this week.

Saturday, I took Austin to tutoring. I felt bad when I left him because he was the only kid. But when I picked him up, he had thoroughly enjoyed his session. But while he was there, I enjoyed a pedicure. That was the only relaxation I got this weekend, but I really enjoyed every second that I was there. After that, Austin and I met my friend Brooke and her daughter Madison for lunch and shopping. We had such a great time visiting.

Saturday evening the boys and myself went to a cookout at Regina and Jason's. Danny use to work with Jason at Circuit City, and they are such a sweet couple. This was the first cookout at there new house, and what a beautiful house they have built. The boys had a blast playing outside and loved playing with their dogs. And I guess you are wondering where my husband was. Well he went to some fight in Florence with the guys from work. So he missed out on the good food and great company. Well Saturday night when we got home the kids were exhausted. So I got them to bed, and of course got myself ready for bed. And about 3 am Austin starts coughing, and he coughed and coughed and coughed. So I finally got myself out of bed and found some cough syrup, that didn't have antihistamines in it. Since he is already on so much allergy medicine. And the cough finally quitened down. So little to say Sunday morning, we all slept in.

So Sunday we went furniture shopping. We are finally going to buy us a nice set of bedroom furniture. So off we went with the boys, and after one store, I think we finally decided on what we both like. I am very simple, and I don't want any big exquisite furniture. Just something that we can have and will last us for years to come. So more to come on the furniture ....
Sunday afternoon we had a cookout with Danny's parents and his grandmother. We haven't seen Nana in a while, so it was nice seeing her.

Then Monday we did a little housework. Girls can we say LAUNDRY!!!! I am terrible at this chore. If anyone has suggestions, I am always willing to try new things. We also started moving things around in the house. With the repairs starting this week, it is starting to put me and Danny at each other's throats. But we are trying to work thru this. It is just hard having your house is chaos. But we got the boy's room ready, and got all of the pictures off the walls in the living room. So right now, we are just at a stand still. Then Danny and I went patio furniture shopping. We have a little bistro set that we got when we bought our place, and he really wants a bigger set that we can all sit at. Well we went to several different stores, and still came home with nothing. We really don't want to spend a fortune, and wanted to buy a set. However, these days, companies sell them piece by piece. So if anyone has suggestions on places or websites to buy patio furniture please sent them my way. After this we enjoyed another cookout with Danny's parents, his grandfather, and my mom. What a wonderful meal Deborah and Steve prepared and what a nice time we all shared together.

Well, as they always say good things must come to an end, and back to work we all went today. And back to school for me as well. Today is my first day of school, after my break. After having two biopsy's last year, I needed a little time off for myself. So today starts a new day, and hopefully in a few years I will graduate. I keep telling Danny we are having a huge party when this happens. So wish me luck, because as we all know, being a mom is hard in itself. Now I will be working fulltime, going to school, and still try to be the best mom and wife. Just pray that my husband and my children have patience in me.

The Foreign Man

So the foreign man shows back up today, after picking his vehicle up on Tuesday. This man is from Russia, and this was my first experience dealing with a Russian. Well first off, he talks real fast in what he think is english, and you can't understand one word that he is saying. Second, he is extremely picky, and you will do things his way. Third, well hopefully this will be my last experience with the Russian man.

The joys of working in the public, which somedays I truly love. But right now, I am so tired of people being so rude and just mean tp me. What happened to manners, and saying "Thank You." I mean, do people honestly think that you can be rude to people and get anywhere. Obviously they do, but in my eyes, I try to be nice. And I find that you get better customer service when you are nice. So I am asking, do you see the rudeness that I am seeing in today's society??? What happened to all of the nice people?

ALLERGIES

NEED I SAY MORE....

AUSTIN HAS HAD ALLERGY PROBLEMS SINCE HE WAS BORN. HE INHERITED THESE FROM HIS FATHER. HE ALWAYS HAD A RUNNY NOSE GROWING UP, AND WAS MOST OF THE TIME SICK. WELL AT TWO WE STARTED GOING TO AN ALLERGIST, WHICH MEANT DOING THE ALLERGY TEST. IT WAS HORRIBLE. THEY THOUHT IT WOULD BE EASIER TO POKE HIS ARM AND NOT HIS BACK. IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I HAVE WITNESSED AS A PARENT. HE CRIED, I WANTED TO CRY. BUT WE GOT THRU IT. HE IS ALLERGIC TO EVERYTHING OUTDOORS: GRASS, TREES, WEEDS, YOU NAME IT.

WELL THIS YEAR, THEY SEEM WORSE!!! SATURDAY I TOOK THEM TO SONIC FOR LUNCH. WELL THE SONIC BY OUR HOUSE HAS A PLAYGROUND, AND THE KIDS WANTED TO PLAY. SO WE GET OUT AND I GO PLACE OUR ORDER, AND BY THIS TIME AUSTIN WANTS TO LEAVE. HIS LITLE EYES WERE SWELLING AND BURNING. SO I HAD TO LET HIM GO TO THE CAR WHILE I WAITED ON THE FOOD. WHICH I HATED TO DO, BUT I COULDN'T RISK HIS EYES SWELLING SHUT. WHICH HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST. SO AGAIN TODAY, IT HAPPENED. HE IS OFFICIALLY OUT OF SCHOOL AND WITH MY GRANDPARENTS. MY GRANDFATHER CALLED AND SAID THAT HIS EYES ARE SWELLING AGAIN. SO I GUESS WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE DOCTOR. WE ARE ALREADY ON TWO MEDICINES AND AN INHALER IF NEEDED. JUST PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS, THAT HIS ALLERGIES WILL EASE UP SO THAT HE CAN ENJOY THE OUTDOORS. BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT A BOY WOULDN'T BE A BOY IF HE COULDN'T PLAY IN THE DIRT. :)

Sick Little One

Well, I am home with Trenton this morning. I guess he has a stomach bug!!! So I have been on lysol duty all morning. Of course, he is four, so I am pretty much just running behind him spraying everything he touches! I just pray that he will be feeling better soon!!! And that no one else in the family gets sick too!

Saving money

Check out my new poll. For a little over a month I have been trying E-Mealz to plan my meals by. It is very easy to do, and very inexpensive. Each week I print off my menu with my shopping list, and I am ready. Well that is if I like what is on the menu for that week. However, with groceries going up weekly, I thought I would do a poll. How do you save money on your groceries, or do you??? Just thought I would get a little insight on what everyone else is doing to save a little money on the necessities that we have to have.

What a day.......

Well I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday. If I hear you got messages one more time I think I am going to scream. And of course, I check the messages and they are NEVER for me. So I am thinking to myself, why is this my responsibility. Well I think the answer is, some people are lazy. The phone drives me crazy, and I find myself at night letting the phone ring just because I am tired of answering it. Not because I don't want to talk to my friends, I am just tired of the phone in general. I love talking in general, I just get tired of talking to customers, and sometimes my customers can be rude and obnoxious.

Like for instance, the foreign man. I can't remember where the man is from. He want talk to a woman, but tomorrow he will. Because women, he is going to have to come to my desk. And my goal is to make this man talk. He is very LOUD and obnoxious and tomorrow is my day. I get to be the one to take his money and I am going to make him aware that his car looks fabulous and if I have to ask him a thousand questions, he will have to answer me at some point. I don't mind foreigners coming to this country, well if they are willing to live like an American. That means they need to speak English, treat us with respect, and live by our laws. That means, talk to women with respect. Drive only if you have a drivers license and insurance!!! And again speak ENGLISH!!! I am not racist, I just see this on a daily basis. And I see the people that get ran over by the mexican with no drivers license, no insurance, and the cops just let him off for free. And we pay for this everyday.

I know, enough about this rant for now!!! But I will post more about the foreign man. This man is a very picky man who is very rude. I just hope he picks his car up tomorrow. I am sure I will give you a good laugh with that post. If only I could get a picture of this man looking at his car. :) It would be priceless!!!

Well I am off to put Trenton to bed. He is my night child. And every night I have to put him back to bed at least 3 times. And each time he is up for a different reason. Nite

Oh, I almost forgot, Austin lost another tooth tonight while we were eating dinner. So I better go get the tooth fairy outfit on. Not really, but I must go do her duties.

A Normal Wednesday in My Shoes

Every Wednesday I go to work....well I get up and rush around the house to get to work to begin with. You know just the normal, try to get everyone dressed, fed, and make sure the kids brush there teeth. That is a must!!! And then hopefully make it to work by 8. Well Wednesday's Austin goes to tutoring. So I have to leave work, go pick him up at afterschool care, and get him back to town. Now this trip takes me about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not so easy!!! And then I have to leave at 5 o'clock, which is impossible where I work, because my boss thinks that we should just let people pick their vehicles up whenever they want to. I mean who cares that we have been here all day, most of the time eating lunch at our desks. So usually I rush to Trenton's daycare, grab him, and off we go to get Austin. And usually I am LATE!!! Seriously, I feel like I am a taxi service.

Well then this Wednesday I had to sub at church. And of course, my boss made me really late leaving. So I had to do everything backwards...I ran to get Austin first, then Trenton. I fed them some food before church, had to go get Trenton a new shirt because his dinner was all over the front of his shirt, then make it to church by 6:45. So when I finally made it to church I had a very nice hour with 4 little babies that were all so sweet. After church was over, we finally made it home around 8:30. Just in time for Austin and Trenton to eat again (they are growing boys) and myself to eat. Then to bed they went, and I had an hour with my husband. Which was so nice since Tuesday was bunco and I didn't get home till late.

Only two more days of work this week, and then hopefully we can have a wonderful weekend.

My First Blog

I have to say I am super excited about starting a blog!!! Now we will see if I am good at this. I will be keeping everyone up-to-date on my crazy life as a working woman. And when I say crazy, I mean crazy!!! Everyday is a new adventure. And everyday I just pray I get thru it. I am the mother of two wonderful little boys. They bring me joy each and everyday. I have a wonderful husband, who most women would love to have around. He is a wonderful cook, and most of the time he does the cooking. And he also, tries his best to help out in our house. I mean, if I am going to work fulltime, then it is only fair that we share the chores. But we can talk more about that is a future blog.

I can already see, today will be a very busy day. When you are a working woman in the body shop business, rain means more wrecks. And in my shop....we are already very busy. I am the office manager at Joe Hudson's Collision Center. They are a chain of bodyshops that have a very good reputation. We try to keep the customers updated and strive for the best customer service. Sometimes this can be very difficult with some of our customers, but we try to do this with each one of them. And we have crazy customers at times, and I am sure that there will be more posts regarding them....esp. the crazy foreign man who doesn't speak to women and screams when he talks. Somedays, it is very hard to love my job, but I try. :)
